CHANCELLOR COLLEGE RELEASES 2016/2017 FINAL AND END OF YEAR EXAMINATION RESULTS

 

Senate of the University of Malawi sitting at Chancellor College in the Little Theatre on 19th June 2018 approved and released the 2016/2017 final and end of year examination results.

According to the College’s management each student will need to use their portal to access the results. However, students who have not completed their school fees will have their portals blocked until they settle their individual balances.  

 

In a press release, the College says “Chancellor College Manage is pleased to inform all students that Senate has approved end of year examination results for the just ended academic year.

“Students are advised to check their portals for details. Students with referral results are advised that supplementary examinations will be administered from Monday 25th June 2018 to Friday 29th June 2018. All concerned students should carefully check their official student emails for supplementary examinations time table. Classes for the next academic year are scheduled to start on 20th August 2018 and details will be communicated in due course”.

  

Chancellor College, the largest constituent college of the University, has a student population of 4178. However, Senate assessed 4068 students while 110 withdrew on non-academic grounds.

The College has five faculties namely, Science with 669 students; Education which has the highest student population of 1229; Law with the lowest number of students currently with 296; Social Science becomes the next faculty with the second highest number of students with a population of 1034; and Humanities with 950 students.
